Our team
Researchers, engineers and advisors building the next generation of simulation and modelling tools.

Dr Ado Farsi
Co-Founder and Director
Dr Ado Farsi is Co-Founder and Director of Tanuki Technologies. He leads research on integrating finite-element and machine-learning methods for high-fidelity fracture and deformation simulations at Imperial College London and University College London.

Dr Nacime Bouziani
Technical Advisor for Machine Learning and AI
Dr Nacime Bouziani serves as Technical Advisor for Machine Learning and AI at Tanuki and is an AI Scientist at Amazon AGI, where he develops machine-learning models for scientific simulations. He is also an Honorary Researcher at Imperial College London’s I-X Centre for AI in Science.

Prof Alberto Paganini
Technical Advisor for Shape Optimisation
Prof Alberto Paganini is Technical Advisor for Shape Optimisation at Tanuki and Associate Professor of Applied and Computational Mathematics at the University of Leicester. He specialises in PDE-constrained shape optimisation and inverse-problem methodologies in geoscience.

Dr Frans Aben
Technical Advisor for Applied Geosciences
Dr Frans Aben is Technical Advisor for Applied Geosciences at Tanuki and a Geomechanics Scientist in TNO’s Applied Geosciences department in the Netherlands. His work focuses on fault mechanics, fluid–rock interactions and permeability evolution in crystalline rocks.
